Description Kumaresh.P.N 2005-12-06 22:31:31 AEDT
Hi Gurus,

Sorry to ask this simple question. How to make ssh to ask for password change when password expired (like telnet asks for passwd change when expired)

I am trying it on
OpenSSH_3.8, OpenSSL 0.9.7d 17 Mar 2004
HP-UX_Secure_Shell-A.03.81.002, HP_UX Secure Shell version

Thanks
Kumaresh.P.N

3.8 is a couple of years old and more recent versions have improvements in the expired password handling. Does the problem you're experiencing still exist in 4.2p1?

Also, since you're having problems with the packages supplied by HP (which have their own modifications) then you need to ask them for help.

If you can reproduce the problem with 4.2p1 built from the source available from http://openssh.com then please reopen this bug.
