The recently distributed Solaris 9 Beta-refresh kit installs SSH. Its version isn't specified, but its man page labels it as OpenSSH. The application binaries are installed in /usr/bin, warranting a heads-up about the sshd default path that is generated for Solaris. It sets up the sshd default user PATH to have OpenSSH's bin/ after /usr/bin. That position probably needs to be reversed. The Solaris 9 Beta-refresh installation neither recognized that I had an existing OpenSSH 3.0.2p1 installation nor preserved its pieces. My OpenSSH installation wasn't even mentioned in the upgrade_cleanup log.
