Description Robin Green 2004-12-01 05:29:57 AEDT
scp doesn't escape all shell special characters in filenames, e.g. the open
bracket character in this example:

# scp
'greenrd@hipnosi.net:/usr/share/mldonkey/incoming/02-life-bush_and_blair_(instrumental)-cms.mp3'
.
bash: -c: line 1: syntax error near unexpected token `('
bash: -c: line 1: `scp -f
/usr/share/mldonkey/incoming/02-life-bush_and_blair_(instrumental)-cms.mp3'
