I know that there is multiple patches to allow RSA SecurId authentication, but 
is it in future plans to integrates it to the original distibution ?

No, we don't want to introduce a dependancy on a proprietary 3rd party library. 

If you don't want to patch, then you can use a securid PAM module or configure
your system authentication to use RADIUS. These aren't as flexible as the
securid patch though.

Change all RESOLVED bug to CLOSED with the exception of the ones fixed post-4.4.
