Hi.

Well the name already says it.

I guess this is most likely as problematic to implement as bug #2005 for similar/same reasons.


Nevertheless I'll add it here for the records, as it would be better, if this was someday supported.

See also bug #2005 comment #4 for some ideas on what could be done (just analogously for XATTRs/ACLs).

as explained in bug #2005 extending scp is not feasible.  We would consider extending sftp (as per http://openssh.com/faq.html#2.10).
