Description Peter 2014-02-12 22:42:32 AEDT
Hello,

We use this command for port forwarding:

ssh -R25011:localhost:22 -R25041:localhost:80 -L1955:server1:1955 -L1958:server1:1958 -fgCN my-login@server2

But after a while (perhaps about 1 or 2 days), the "-R" forwardings don't work anymore. The forwardings of ports 1955 and 1958 are still alive.

What could be the reason of this problem, and how could it be solved please?

TIA for any help,
Peter

You'll have to catch ssh and preferably sshd too in the act here by recording their output in debug mode ("ssh -vvv ..." and "/path/to/ssh -ddd" respectively).
