Description Art Bragg 2001-12-17 11:27:45 AEDT
An sshd.pid file in /var/run with root ownership is nonremovable and not
modifiable. Attempts to remove said file produces error: "rm: cannot unlink
'sshd.pid': Operation not permitted." This message is likewise produced when
attempting to restart the ssh daemon ('/etc/inet.d/rc.d/sshd restart').

i cannot see how sshd makes the pidfile unlinkable.
